National Gem & Jewellery Council of India (NGJCI) is registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and setup by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India for the promotion and service of domestic Gem & Jewellery industry.

Inaugurated on January 29th, 2019 by the esteemed Commerce & Industry Minister, Govt. of India. This Domestic Council was incorporated on December 3rd, 2021 as National Gems and Jewellery Council of India.

NGJCI's mission revolves around fostering growth in the gems & jewellery sector, catalysing job opportunities, and boosting regional clusters while enhancing value chains.
